Pictured above, Marianne previews Ephraim & Sadie Hatfield‘s Not For Sale at the DownStreet Art kickoff event Thursday night in North Adams. After some intense rains earlier that afternoon the sky cleared up, the hot summer air cooled down, and people from across Western Massachusetts and Southern Vermont came out for the now annual arts festival. DSA is spearheaded by Jonathan Secor and the great folks at the Berkshire Cultural Resource Center. Greylock Arts participated in the inaugural DSA back in 2008 with Lumens, and after taking a year off, we’re back at it in 2010 as we produce the Hatfield’s upcoming interactive storefront window installation. Unfortunately Ephraim & Sadie could not attend. But it was great to see people react to their simple demonstration. And we look forward to seeing all of what Ephraim & Sadie have in store for us when Not For Sale officially opens next month. Follow the Hatfield’s on Twitter, Like them on Facebook, or read their blog as they prepare for the July 29th opening.
